A Lot of At-Bats

Today's trivia question:  What player has the record for most at-bats in a season?

Hint to today's question---It's an active National League infielder.

Answer to the previous trivia question---In 1941, Joe DiMaggio hit in 56 consecutive games and Ted Williams hit .406 for the season.  After that season, both DiMaggio and Williams entered the service to fight in World War 2 and missed the next few seasons.
