Today's baseball trivia question:  The Chicago White Sox have had two batting champions in their history.  One was Frank Thomas.  Can you name the other one and guess within 10 points what his winning batting average was?

Hint to today's trivia question--This other Sox player actually won it twice.  We'll use his better year for the guess on the batting average.

Answer to the previous baseball trivia question---Bob Turley was the pitcher, and he did it in 1954.  That was the only year of his 12-season major league career in which he pitched for Baltimore.

Answer to yesterday's baseball trivia question---It was Ball Night at Dodger Stadium.  At three different times during the game, Dodger fans threw baseballs onto the field.  The game was called in the bottom of the ninth with one out and the Cardinals won the game 2-1.  Tom Henke of St. Louis was given the save.

Answer to the previous baseball trivia question---Though it was only an exhibition game, that was the date of the first televised baseball game.  WGN televised that first game from Wrigley Field which the White Sox won 4-1.

Answer to yesterday's baseball trivia question---Fred McGrif hit 30 or more in a season with Toronto in 1988, '89, and '90,  with San Diego in '91 and '92,  with Atlanta in '94, with Tampa Bay in '99, and with the Cubs in 2002.   Gary Sheffield also hit at least 30 HRs with San Diego in '92, the Marlins in '96, the Dodgers from '99-'01,  the Braves in '03, and the Yankees in '04 and '05.
