White Sox Batting Champ

Today's baseball trivia question:  The Chicago White Sox have had two batting champions in their history.  One was Frank Thomas.  Can you name the other one and guess within 10 points what his winning batting average was?

Hint to today's trivia question--This other Sox player actually won it twice.  We'll use his better year for the guess on the batting average.

Answer to the previous baseball trivia question---Bob Turley was the pitcher, and he did it in 1954.  That was the only year of his 12-season major league career in which he pitched for Baltimore.
